How to Play

Learn the rules in minutes. Master the strategy over hundreds of games.

01

Build Your Deck

Each player builds a deck of 30 cards before the game. You must include at least 10 Beast cards and no more than 3 copies of any single card. Choose your beasts wisely — each has unique power, defense, and special abilities.

02

Set Up the Arena

Each player starts with 20 Life Points. Shuffle your deck and draw 5 cards. The player who most recently saw a wild animal goes first. (No animal sightings? Flip a coin.)

03

Your Turn

On your turn: Draw 1 card → Play up to 2 cards from your hand → Declare attacks → End your turn. You may play Beast cards to your field or Action cards immediately for their effect.

04

Combat

Declare which of your beasts attacks which enemy beast (or the opponent directly). Compare Power vs. Defense. If attacker's Power exceeds defender's Defense, the defending beast is defeated. Excess damage carries over to the opponent's Life Points.

05

Special Abilities

Rare and Legendary beasts have abilities printed on their cards — triggered on play, on attack, or on defeat. Abilities can chain together for devastating combos. Read the card carefully before you play it.

06

Winning

Reduce your opponent's Life Points to 0 to win. If a player cannot draw a card at the start of their turn, they lose immediately. Best-of-three is the standard tournament format.
